Job Description

CAFM SpecialistMake a difference every dayThe Job OpportunityWe are looking for a CAFM Specialist who will be responsible for selecting, procuring and implementing a state of the art Computerised Aided Facility Management (CAFM) system and for the seting up of the CAFM for operational use prior to service delivery commencement including training of users.Key accountabilities

  • In conjunction with the client, select a CAFM system for implementation that is capable of total maintenance, contract management, cost control, KPI?s, equipment life cycle and time attendance.
  • In conjunction the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and Client IT department, oversee and takes responsibility for CAFM system implementation.
  • Ensure spare parts lists are linked into the CAFM system.
  • Agree with the client the information to be contained in the system and types of reports to be generated.
  • Ensure the CAFM system can integrate with client owned finance and HR systems .
  • Ensure that all service providers information and delivery is included in the CAFM system e.g. cleaning, , specialist systems, pest, waste etc
  • Maintaining Asset and PPM as well as importing new assets and PPM schedules into the system.
What we are looking for in our candidates:
  • Must be a skilled specialist in communicating and managing client expectations and requirements
  • Must be political incisive in communicating effectively with the client personnel
  • A dynamic, high energy individual who can support several groups/sections within the organization
Specific requirements
  • 3 years minimum experience in CAFM implementation.
  • Previous experience using Maximo & Tririga CAFM systems.
  • Previous exposure to Facilities Management environment.
  • Expertise in Database management specially SQL Server 2008
  • Maximo / Tririga Reporting.
  • Good understanding of Server Hardware and basic management.
  • Degree holder of IT related qualification or equivalent.
  • Six Sigma certification is a preference (Yellow Belt/Green Belt/Black Belt).
