Since delivering our first order in Kuwait in 2004, we?ve grown quite a lot over the past 17 years.Today, we deliver hundreds of millions of food orders, grocery items and other products per year, to our customers in nine countries throughout the region with more than 3,000+ employees! Our food delivery business works with over 27,000 brands and almost 50,000 branches, while our q-commerce concept, talabat mart, now delivers groceries to customers in Bahrain, Egypt, Jordan, Kuwait, Oman Qatar, and the UAE in 30 minutes or less!Our philosophy is to make sure we do what is right for our ecosystem - our customers, our partners, our people, our riders, and the communities in which we operate. Our #techforgood program allows our customers a safe and convenient way to contribute to important causes in their community through donating to local and international charities directly on talabat with a focus on food insecurity in the region. Since its inception in 2020, we have facilitated the donation of well over 1 million meals to those in need, as well as donated over $1.5 million to charity with the help of our partners and customers. talabat is part of Delivery Hero, the global leader in online food delivery and q-commerce.We?re looking for an Analytics Manager to join the talabat team and lead data efforts in taking full ownership of the domain whilst working closely with talabat?s core Data Centre of Excellence team. Part business partner, part analytics leader, we are looking for someone with excellent commercial acumen as well as the ability to deliver impactful projects themselves, and further scaling impact in the coming months by working through a high-performing team of analysts.Your goal will be to maximize the value we get out of our key accounts data - contributing to the talabat data platform, ensuring we democratise our data in the end, and support the provision of insights to help deliver best-in-class service to our customers.Whats on our plate?

  • Responsible for delivering excellent data support to the talabat regional key accounts team
  • Taking broad themes and crafting these into intensely impactful pieces of analysis that can drive real-world action, and seeing that this action is taken
  • Solving problems alongside the Director of Sales, working in lock-step towards the same ambitious goals
  • Identifying opportunities for automation, and working with the core data team to achieve these
  • Contributing to the company?s strategy with regional key accounts to identify new opportunities & positively impact the relationship with external stakeholders
  • Own all data deliverables for the Regional Key Account KA domain
  • Ensuring Regional Key AccountKA team members are equipped with the best possible data-driven ammunition, from deep-dive analysis to automated impactful dashboards and intuitive visualizations to support efficient decision making

  • Experience executing and managing deep-dive analysis in a complex setting
  • Fully independent with experience solving data problems
  • Excellent SQL
  • Reproducible data analysis using R or Python
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker, and Google DataStudio

  • Previous experience managing and coaching analysts or other data professionals is preferred
Internal use: Scope details You will lead E2E analytics for these RKA groups across all talabat countries. Some details on the scope below :
  • Automating key business review metrics basis customized requirements. Including but not limited to:
    • Sales and growth KPIs
    • Product analytics
    • Logistics performance
    • Customer metrics
    • Campaign performance
  • Building custom data solutions for all RKAs
  • Enabling visibility on country-level KA performance across all business functions incl but not limited to POS/integrations, marketing/ROI & SSC/ops
  • Leading industry, market and platform insights to enable benchmarking and better decision-making for RKAs and for talabat
  • Enabling insights and visibility into NCR product & campaign performance
  • Supporting new commercial model testing & development for RKAs
  • Build & scale data monetization product along with talabat RKA team, talabat data team & DH
