Job Description

Employment: Full Time This is a senior Corporate Executive Assistant reporting to the Chairman of an organisation with diversified, global business interests. Based in Dubai, your role as the Executive Assistant will be to provide a full spectrum of senior level and seamless support to the Chairman and manage extensive stakeholder engagement across all business units. Your role will also include producing complex documents and presentations in preparation for board meetings and executive committee meetings. You will also be at the forefront of all communication, drafting memos, contracts and briefs in both Arabic and English and be responsible for building strong relationships both externally and internally across all management levels. This is not a traditional EA role, but more of a strategic support role and we are seeking candidates with a specific skill set and degree. We are seeking candidates from the Levant region only, due to the location of stakeholders and to be considered for the position, a degree in civil engineering or architecture and design from a recognised University. Arabic and English written and verbal skills should be interchangeable in fluency and candidates must be well versed in writing detailed correspondence in both languages. REQUIREMENTS: Day to day office operations will involve being the Chairmans representative and first point of contact, ensuring the office runs efficiently and smoothly, screening and prioritizing calls and meeting requests and delegating appropriately. Additionally, arranging meetings, conference calls and all other meeting logistics to ensure the needs of the Chairman are met. Extensive diary management (Outlook), making sure that the Chairmans demanding and fluctuating schedule is always up to date, email & contacts management, drafting and proof reading correspondence and compiling speaking notes for conferences and interviews. Undertaking research when required and interfacing with internal and external stakeholders such as government entities, clients, service providers etc., providing information, and handling any issues that arise independently. The successful applicant will be intuitive and be able manage confidential ad hoc matters as and when they arise and exercise considerable judgment and discretion in completing assignments.A proven track record of supporting C-Level Executives with large projects is required, coupled with a consistent career history which has shown loyalty to previous employers.Those candidates who meet the requirements outlined above will be contacted.
