Employment: Full Time Estimator up to 6k Aed for a Joinery and Fit Out Company in Dubai, UAE-POSITION: Estimator-SALARY: up to 6,000 AED monthly gross depending on experience and qualifications-HIRING COMPANY: Joinery and Fit Out Company-LOCATION: Dubai Technopark-AVAILABILITY: Can join immediately (max 1 month)-EMPLOYMENT TYPE: PermanentJOB DESCRIPTION:-Estimation interior fit-out projects-Preparation of bills of quantities-Adjudication of contractors claims (measurement)-Estimating and cost control-Managing full tender process-Interpreting specifications, price tenders, and preparation of contract documents-Interpreting and checking drawings, tender documents, quantities and estimates-Verifying sub-contractors claims and verification of Quantity Surveyors calculations progress of work at site and material on-site / off-site-Consistently seek new companies to pre- qualify for inclusion on tender list-Develops bid cost estimates for the specified deadlines for submission-Reviews and comments on technical and commercial specifications-Coordinates with Production department-Works with sales to prioritize and periodically review the Bid Calendar to ensure Company is meeting its obligations to submit timely bids-Preparing tenders, RFQs, negotiating costs and managing supplier contracts-Calculate direct material cost based on 3D renderings and drawings produced by the design department-Source suppliers and manage supplier portfolio, including raw materials, finishes, furniture and other stand elements-Preparing tenders and communication with suppliers-Provide detailed estimate for different projects ranging from custom made products to tender projects.-Attend client technical meetings to understand their actual requirement in order to provide an accurate estimate-Coordinate with the suppliers to get the competitive price for the material-Computes costs by analyzing labor, material, and time requirements-Presents prepared estimate by assembling and displaying numerical and descriptive information Salary: SAR 6,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances. REQUIREMENTS: EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:-Diploma or Bachelors Degree in Architecture, Engineering, or any related course-Minimum of 4 years of experience in the same position-Experience in the joinery and fit out industry us a must-Experienced in preparing RFQs and tender and bill of quantity-Proficient in Microsoft Office applications-Excellent verbal and written communication skills and negotiation skills-Ability to work under-pressure-Multitasking and prioritization skills
