Employment: Full Time Position Title: Design EngineerEmployment Type: Full TimeSalary: up to 10,000 AED all inclusive depending on experience and qualificationsJob Location: Dubai, UAEAbout the Client:The hiring company is one of the leading group of companies in the UAE based in Dubai with successful track records in retail, fashion, hospitality, interior design, and real estate industriesJob Role:Responsible for the timely and accurate quantity take off and review of drawings, specification, BOQ, tender addendums/clarifications and other documents as requiredLiaison with sales teams to understand the parameters of design requests & creating plans, designs and drawings using computer-aided design programs. Create appealing designs considering budget, client needs, functionality, government regulations and safetyResponsible for preparing lay-out drawings, Shop drawings, Detailed Quantity take-off from approved shop drawings, developing Structural & architectural details for Hard landscaping by identification of all requirements during estimationCompile reports, cost estimates, photos, illustrations and models to create presentation to submit to the clientEnsure the timely completion / review of all documents submitted by/ to the Consultant and/or ContractorTo create and amend all plans for the site accurately, ensuring the drawings are updated on AutoCAD and distributed appropriately. Provide all necessary on-site direction and assist the team to issue site instructions for playgrounds, landscaping and associated itemsEnsure correctness and completeness of As-Built drawings within divisions line of work. Preparing WIR to inspect completed works at siteMaintain status awareness & records of projects drawings and coordinate delivery with other disciplines within project team REQUIREMENTS: REQUIREMENTS:Open to any nationalsMale or Female, 40 years old and belowBachelors degree in Engineering or any relevant fieldAt least 3 years relevant experience with extensive knowledge in landscapingTechnically sound, Strategic planning skills, Analytical and extremely detail-orientedGood IT systems knowledge and skills including AutoCAD, 3D Max and PhotoshopExcellent time-management skills, with the ability to adjust quickly should there be changes in work prioritiesExperience of working within budgets, targets and timescalesStrong planning, organizing, productivity and time management skillsHave high level of attention to detail and accuracyExcellent communication skills in both verbal and written in EnglishImportant note: Must be able to start immediately
