ResponsibilitiesAssist in the design and development of next generation AI-enabled software products for oil & gas clientsContribute to the solution design, usually in collaboration with other data scientists and engineersExtract, clean, audit and prepare data for analysis, relying on well-structured procedures and maintaining reproducibility of resultsAssist in experiments to answer targeted questions and conduct exploratory data analysisAnalyze and judge the quality of data produced and proactively develop and implement solutions to data quality issuesHelp prepare and visualize interim and final results of analysesImplement and test algorithms and techniques relevant to achieving project objectivesMaintain and develop, as needed, databases relevant to analytic solutions being developedTranslate business objectives into actionable analyses and insightsCombine models using ensemble methodsBuild predictive models and machine learning algorithms REQUIREMENTS: Educational REQUIREMENTSMasters or Doctorate in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Machine Learning, Data Science, Applied Statistics, Natural Language Processing, or Computer VisionDegree from a European or US universityExperienceIndustrial working experience in data science (Demonstrated relevant experience in industry or academia, self training, and personal projects) is a real plus3+ years of experience demonstrating depth and breadth in state-of-the-art computer vision, deep learning, machine learning, natural language processing, or other artificial intelligence technologiesExperience in the oil & gas exploration & production company or oil field services company, such as ExxonMobil, Chevron, Total, Shell, BP, Schlumberger, Halliburton, BakerHughes, etc is a plusKey SkillsPython, Docker, Git, Anaconda, and JupyterMachine learning, data mining, deep learning, computer vision, or natural language processingFull-stack AI pipeline (build API, Flask)REQUIREMENTSVery strong analytical skillsResults-driven and proactive personalityExcellent communication skillsThe ability to build machine learning models and to find impactful and actionable recommendations based on the modelThe ability to manage ambiguity, to take initiative, and to hit the ground runningKeep up to date with the latest technology trendsStrong mathematical skills (e.g.: statistics, algebra
