Job Description

Role PurposeTheSenior Infrastructure Manageris responsible for coordinating and reviewing all project engineering strategies, work stage deliverables and encompassing project programs applicable to The Project Proponent. For example, but not limited to, real estate development criteria, project feasibility and strategies, in conjunction with the design management team. Inclusive, of all enabling sub-projects through close interaction and coordination with relevant counterparts such as, the Engineering Technical Standards Department, Urban Planning, Project Execution Office, with the support industry leading Subject Matter Experts.TheSenior Infrastructure Managershall report directly to the Design Coordination Director and participate as a direct interface with all Company internal and external stakeholders, to confirm that relevant design packages comply with the applicable International Codes and Standards. As a lead member of a strategic technical team, the Senior Infrastructure Manager shall collaborate with the Real Estate Development Department to enhance the culture of engineering design excellence, elevate the quality of not only design, but from a development feasibility perspective. Thus, ensuring that each design cycle complies with the project?s financial objectives and is correctly certified before proceeding to the next design stage.TheSenior Infrastructure Managershall work closely with the Project Design and Project Execution Office, participating in the review of building engineering strategies and development programs for The Project Proponent and recommend approval, or re-draft to the Director. Inclusive, but not limited to all design briefs, scopes of work, to ensure that these packages and strategies are aligned with The Proponent?s objectives and comply with relevant project development criteria, prior to recommendation and approval to the Director.Key Accountabilities & ActivitiesKey ResponsibilitiesProject scope of work development?Facilitate the definition of project engineering scope, goals and deliverables.? Develop project engineering scopes and objectives to ensure the timely delivery of design and technical requirements along with project feasibility from a Real Estate Developers remittance.? Share knowledge and assist other staff members in carrying out their duties.? Link between the technical and construction department on engineering/utility matters.? Review external consultants? engineering/utility designs/details with a view to value engineer where possible to ensure the most cost-effective solutions.Stakeholders Engagement?Coordinate consultants for the production of engineering drawings to achieve desired technical outcomes.? Assist with the management of related vendors and stakeholders.? Constantly monitor and report on progress of the project engineering design and execution.? Ensure implementing the communication strategy and matrix.Organize the project resource and tasks including Contractors, vendors and third parties.? Provide direction and building engineering support to project execution team.? Coordinate internal resources and third parties / vendors for the flawless engineering design and execution of projects.? Establish and maintain relationships with contractors, third parties and vendors.? Support the The Project Proponent to plan and execute the required steps to bring projects to fruition.Manage and Control Project Cost & Schedule? Plan and schedule project timelines.? Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs and goals.? Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques.? Report and escalate to management as needed.? Perform risk management to minimize project risks.Monitor and control Safety & Quality?Ensure Safety compliance.? Assist with the Development of Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) Plans.? Assist and ensure functionality and implementation of QA/AC and HSE plans.? Resolve all non-conformity aspects.Ability to Report and analyse? Project engineering evaluations and assessment of results.? Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs.? Present reports defining project engineering progress, problems and solutions.? Provide alternatives to keep project under control from all aspects. (Budget, Schedule, Quality)Project Handover? Facilitate the process of project handover such as conducting walkthrough and manage all exception items.? Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.?
