These values are instilled into all of our relationships, projects, programs, and activities enabling us to provide solutions that have a positive impact on society.Louis Berger Services, member of WSP USA, is an Equal Opportunity Employer Race/Age/Color/Religion/Sex/Sexual Orientation/Gender Identity/National Origin/Disability or Protected Veteran Status.This OpportunityThis position requires you to work in Saudi Arabia and is a Joint Venture with with LBP-KSA & The KFB GroupYour ImpactLouis Berger Power KSA is looking for a qualified Procurement Specialist with a technical end engineering background in power systems project including PV power plants to fill a full-time role at ongoing and future projects in Saudi Arabia and the region.Procurement specialist will lead the procurement activities for multimale projects with a full coordination with project team members to ensure that all project requirements, quality, quantity, budget and specification are on track within the project specs, budget and schedule. the Procurement specialist will be responsible for the full compliance with project requirements in coordination with project stake holder, engineering, vendors and project controller.The Procurement specialist should have proven experience in system projects procurements process and the high skills of negotiation, contract and PO T&C management and the ability improve the project profit.Responsibilities? Full awareness and understanding of projects technical specs and contractual terms and condition.? Purchase order and contract issuance in full compliance (back-to-back) with project contractual agreement.? Ensure approval process implementation for the purchase orders and contracts.? Managing project payment terms and build back-to-back strategy with the vendors satisfying project cash follow.? Build and execute project procurement strategy meeting with project schedule, technical specs, and budget with a saving tracking? Tracking and monitoring the purchase orders from issuing till closing/final payment? Build and manage vendors and price list.? Vendors analysis, evaluation and selection.? Comply with vendor evaluation registration and due diligence process.? Coordination and follow-up with projects, finance/project controller and engineering team? Support project and finance team to track the payment and ensure positive project cash flow.? Techno-commercial proposal analysis, evaluation and screening in line with project requirements.? Monitor/ tracking warranty terms and conditions back-to-back with project contractual requirements.? Issuing/tracking/monitoring all Risk Insurance in compliance with project need, value and time frame.? Treat a positive relationship with the vendors and improv the vendor list? Receive and resolve any problem or misunderstanding between vendors and project team.? Tracking the equipment/materials delivery and subcontract progress ensuring delivery as per purchase order delivery schedule.? Issuing/managing the variation orders, claim and LD with the vendors and subcontractors.? Checking and evaluating the spare parts list and issue the purchase orders accordingly.? Issuing and managing the agreements with the service providers (i.e., hotels, car rentals, insurance companies, travels agents, etc.)? Represent the company in front of the vendors and subcontractors demonstrating the company culture and values.Required Qualifications? Bachelors or 3 years diploma degree in electrical or mechanical engineering from an accredited college or university? 3-5 years experience in system projects procurement with engineering background /power systems/PV and conventional power plants.? Experience in EPC contract management and negotiation skills in contract terms and conditions.? Technical and engineering level of solar PV PP? Professional in procurement systems platforms (i.e., SAP or similar ERP system)? Professional with MS word and excel.?
