An exciting opportunity is available for Principal Advisor II, TaxationReports to, GM,Finance Shared Services located in Riyadh. Job purpose:Responsible for Tasnee Zakat and Tax regulation compliance, including preparation of Zakat, tax, VAT and WHT returns, payments of zakat and tax authorities and issuance of monthly reports for the management. Overall accountability for managing Zakat, Tax and VAT risk within Tasnee and ensuring risks are being managed and / or mitigated as per Tasnee risk strategy. Role responsibilities:

• Ensures compliance for KSA zakat/tax regulations.
• Oversees timely and accurate preparation of zakat, tax, VAT and WHT returns, progress on various appeals, Transfer Pricing reports and ensuring full regulatory compliance.
• Monitor preparation of annual zakat and tax provision calculations for financial statement purpose and all disclosures.
• Provides professional guidance and support to colleagues/internal customers on issues relating to Zakat, tax, and financial management.
• Communicates important zakat and tax issues and strategies to executive team and Board of Directors.
• Advises Head of Finance Share services and other Department Heads on zakat and taxation matters.
• Support the Business Lines and support divisions in the preparation of their annual zakat/tax budgets.
• Manage Zakat/VAT audits and inspections.
• Manage the team in Zakat and tax department.
• Monitor relevant accounting and controlling policies, procedures, and practices to assess impact on zakat and taxation of the companies.
• Oversee zakat and tax projects related to new regulations, their implementation plan development and manages progress.
• Ensure all documents are collected on a central database and handle requests for information.
• Ensuring that the Business adheres to the Transfer Pricing Regulations and internal transfer pricing Policies in all geographies where the Retail Division operates and ensure proper transfer pricing documentation is maintained.
• Conduct relevant workshops / training throughout the year to keep business up to date on compliance regulations.
• Streamline processes through automation.
• Continual development of team
• Maintain an excellent rapport with ZATCA and the business.

• 10+ years experience in big 4 accounting firms or in any manufacturing industry, this includes 3+ years experience in leading a team.
• Working knowledge of zakat and tax laws of Saudi Arabia and dealing with KSA zakat and tax authorities.
• Experience with managing under Service Level Agreement (SLA), Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and performance metrics is preferredCritical Thinking and Decision Making
• Bilingual in both English and Arabic.
• Good knowledge of accounting standards, zakat, and tax laws in KSA and GCC
• Familiarity with applicable tax laws in jurisdiction outside GCC where Tasnee operates.
• Experience with SAP ERP.
• Good leadership skills and a track record of successfully managing closure of books and requirement of internal and external stakeholders.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Strong Analytical skills for reviewing financial reports and trial balances.
• Excellent problem-solving attitude in case of disagreement among various department.
