and QualificationsNEOM GREEN HYDROGEN COMPANY:Air Products has entered into a Joint Venture agreement with ACWA Power and NEOM and together established the NEOM GREEN HYDROGEN COMPANY (NGHC). The Company will be Owner and Operator of the world?s first and largest green hydrogen project at an estimated capital investment of USD $ 5bn. This unique project will be a fore-runner in green hydrogen-based ammonia production and will serve the new and growing global Hydrogen markets. The facility will be sited in NEOM, KSA and will be powered by more than 4GW of renewable solar, wind and battery storage. The project is scheduled to be onstream in 2026.POSITION SUMMARY:The Project QA Specialist is responsible for setting up the Quality Management framework for the projects and monitor implementation across NGHC projects.NATURE & SCOPE:Candidate will be assigned to Program Quality Management Organization and will be expected to travel in frequent and on need basis. Candidate will guide, monitor and support Projects? Quality Teams to implement Projects Quality Management activities within their Projects.PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSBILITIES:As approved by the Projects Quality Manager, the SQS Specialist has the responsibility and commensurate authority to accomplish the following duties:

  • Define the Quality requirements in EPC Contracts.
  • Develop Quality Management processes and procedures and monitor implementation across NGHC Projects.
  • Review EPC Contractors? PQPs for compliance with contract requirements and adabtation of industry best practices.
  • Establish, monitor and analyze projects quality KPI?s and recommend course of action if required.
  • Analyze findings, issues and non-conformities to determine program quality and identify performance trends.
  • Perform audits in various areas (e.g. Engineering, Procurement, Fabrication, Construction, Project Management and Material Management). This includes the audits or surveys of suppliers, vendors and contractors? QA/QC programs to ensure compliance.
  • Perform RCA and recommend corrective actions to address quality issues and gaps.
  • Lead scheduled, or on need basis, quality audits and assessments.
  • Prepare necessary reports and presentations for quality audits, RCA?s, quality status, etc.
  • Establishes the Quality Management electronic tracking system in SharePoint for the project including registers and folder structure.
  • Establish and administer Inspection Services contract to support Projects? Quality Managers in acquiring required resources to manage projects? quality.
  • Elevates Quality issues and concerns to the Projects Quality Manager and Project Managers as required.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor degree or higher qualification
  • Knowledge of the ISO-9000 series International Standards
  • Quality Management certification (preferred)
  • Fluent in English, written and spoken.
  • Lead Auditor certification or above from a recognized organization
  • Conversant with applicable industry standards and specifications
  • Experience of 15 years of Quality Management related experience of major international projects in Oil & Gas or Petrochemical Projects in assignment of increasing responsibility, complexity and scope.
  • Working within a structured Quality Management System.
