Date Posted:2022-09-26-07:00Country: Saudi ArabiaLocation: Otis Elevator Company Saudi Arabia Ltd, 11th Floor, Tower B, Zahran Business Center, Prince Sultan Street, Salamah District, Jeddah, Saudi ArabiaResponsibilities:The Controller will be responsible for overseeing the monthly closing process and ensure that reporting is in compliance with UTC Policies and Procedures.This position will have direct reports that oversee the operational accounting and general accounting functions.Ensure compliance with corporate internal control requirements including financial and operational policies and procedures, review of reconciliations, review and approval procedures, signature authorization matrices, and segregation of duties.Annual SOX compliance update, reporting and stat to gap analysis.Review key reports at least monthly to identify trends or metrics requiring further analysis and review.Work with the appropriate personnel and systems to determine underlying business drivers and review with CFO / management, as appropriate, to drive business actions and resolve issues. Create process maps of significant financial, business and operational processes in order to recommend opportunities for improvement.Ensure timely monthly reporting of financial statements in accordance with the US GAAP in order to ensure compliance with group reporting timelines.Monitor and review accounting and related system reports for accuracy and completeness.Analyze revenue and expenditure trends and recommend appropriate budget levels, and ensure expenditure control.Interact with internal and external auditors in completing audits.Ensure compliance to local tax requirements as well as other regulatory requirements.Compile and analyze financial information as per business requirements.This position will also be responsible for leading the ERP Implementation from an expansion to branches perspective.Maintain confidentiality, integrity and availability of information in line with information security policies and procedures in order to protect from any disclosure or misuse.Contribute to annual strategic plan, budget, and staffing plan for Financial AccountsReview and approve reconciliation of suppliers? accounts, preparation of cheques and cheques payment vouchers and bank transfers to ensure proper recording of transactions in GLs.Review, investigate, and correct errors and inconsistencies in financial entries, documents, and reports.Determines proper handling of financial transactions and approves transactions within designated limits.Staff management and development.Prepares financial statements and other reports to summarize and interpret current and projected.Report, analyze, and ensure integrity of all financial information.Other duties as assigned.Otis is An Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
