Job Description

Job Purpose:The primary function of the Oracle ERP Technical Consultant role is to effectively develop and deliver Fusion applications technical requirements and OTBI reports for several modules of the Fusion, to provide an integrated information system solution to Zahran Businesses.Principal Accountabilities:

  • Reporting to the Business Applications Manager, the Fusion ERP Technical Consultant will provide expertise and knowledge in the technical side of the Fusion.
  • Develop OTBI reports and Dashboard for several modules of the Fusion.
  • Work as a technical consultant in the Fusion Applications practice involving designing & developing of reports and forms for various modules of the Fusion Apps.
  • Enterprise Solution Advisor.
  • Solve integration challenges between your current organizations software systems.
  • Preparation of documentation such as MD 050/MD070 for Customizations.
  • Data migration for All Modules (Finance/Supply Chain & HRMS).
  • Design and develop the code for components (RICE) as per the requirement specified in the functional requirement specification.
  • Identify technical gaps in user requirements and design custom solutions to cater the user requirements.
  • Document the application extension technical design documents based on the AIM approach.
  • Review the documents/deliverables delivered by the Implementation Vendor team.
  • Perform in-house training for users and the IT team on an as-needed basis.
  • Work with Fusion Support when needed to ensure the system is running smoothly.
  • Facilitate and actively participate in all phases of the Implementation cycle, to include Requirements Gathering & Analysis, System Design & Development, Testing, and Implementation.
  • Assist, coach, and mentor other engagement team members on technical issues they may encounter in the design and implementation of solutions.
  • Actively participate in the troubleshooting phase once the product has gone live .
  • Develops and documents Zahran?s expertise, know-how, controls, and capabilities within the Fusion ERP.
  • Performs miscellaneous tasks as assigned by his/her direct manager.
Health & Safety Responsibilities:
  • Complies with established health and safety guidelines and procedures and ensures the health, safety and welfare of self and others.
  • Identifies and reports to management any Health, Safety or Environmental risks and makes suggestions to address these risks and co-operate with his/her supervisor?s instructions.
Communications and Working Relationships:
  • Participates as an active member in the strategic planning process of the ERP systems across the organization.
  • Develops communication plans; work closely with business process stakeholders to define training and post-installation support requirements.
  • Interacts with external suppliers of Fusion ERP System and database administration services.
  • Interfaces with the other IT team members and provides them with support when needed.
  • Interacts with and update Applications & Development Unit Head with all Fusion ERP Project-related issues and concerns.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work as part of a team or independently.
