Job Description

  • Develops, manage, and/or executes all phases of the projects control effort (planning/scheduling, progress performance and cost analysis). The incumbent utilizes widely diversified knowledge of project control activities, and draws upon extensive experience and exposure to various types of projects and client. Performs a major role reporting contractual responsibilities of RC Contractors. Responsible for Core Project controls and Document control team.
  • Reports directly to the Program Manager and Core Expansions projects. Close monitoring of works with Principal Schedulers, Projects Control Engineers. A close relationship is maintained with Clients, Project Construction Engineers and Technical Planning Section.
  • Provide guidance, direction, and specialized assistance to project for the resolution of difficult and complex project control problems.
  • Coordinates and directs projects, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of activities.
  • Manages and direct the set-up of projects, the collection of data and information for reporting (internal and external) and analysis, the forecasting effort and the internal controls on SAPL Core and RC Projects under execution in liaison with all disciplines.
  • Interfaces with client, attends regular meetings, and provides statistical reports.
  • Guides project team to analyze, evaluate, and forecast project costs, as well as performance against an established schedule with critical milestones.
  • Assesses the impact(s) of design/construction changes and schedule slippages. Provides the needed expertise and technique in cost control and contract management and coordinates project estimation efforts.
  • Oversees the development and maintenance of an established system to show the hierarchy of plans and schedules; keep project and client management fully informed.
  • Directs the needed teams to monitor contractor performance, project deliverables and quality and ensures that projects adhere to RC quality standards and that risk is minimal.
  • Coordinates staffing requirements, assigns and supervises project work activities and trains personnel.
  • Complete performance reviews and provides personnel development for the assigned employees.
  • Creates statistical reports for management on a recurring or one-of-a kind basis.
  • Participates in business development efforts by gathering and presenting a variety of background data. May be required to make informal or formal presentations.
  • Ensure that project documentation is complete and in order, and that RC maintain copies of legal documents applicable to projects for future reference.
  • Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
