-Work within an integrated procurement team across multiple projects at all stages of the procurement process.-Responsible for Order Placement Timing, Supply / Demand Alignment, Material Replenishment-Sourcing the most affordable materials for the companies.-Controlling the purchasing budget.-Ensuring the adequate supply of all required materials, components, and equipment.-Delivering cost savings for the company.-Managing the procurement supplier relationships for the company.-Regularly contacting suppliers to renegotiate prices.-Keeping all supplier programs current and accurate.-writing up contracts.-Having meetings with potential suppliers and asking them searching questions.-Responding to internal and external supplier inquiries.-Preparing purchase orders and subcontracts.-Managing purchase requisitions and orders.-Follow up purchase orders until they reach the project.-Reviewing the drawings and collecting the activities packages.-Good background in materials and quantity surveying. Also can issue material submittals (MAR-PQD).
