Key Responsibilities:Identifies mechanical damages, dismounts these parts, repairs and/or replaces damaged or worn-out parts like Mechanical components and machinery parts. Performs maintenance and repair activities on various pieces of power generating equipment or any other similar equipment to be operated on the terminal area. Performs routine maintenance checks and adjustments as per manufacturer?s requirements to components such as fluid level, hoses, belts, brakes, clutches, gearboxes, filters, oil, etc. He is familiar with all required tools, required for such tasks. Additionally, he is specialized in electrical systems, able to read and identify components on electrical diagrams and performs all tasks in repair, service and troubleshooting or adjustments to the generators, mounted to engines. With his advanced skills in engine technologies, he provides service, repair and troubleshooting to the engines of said generators.For this he identifies the correct required parts or components, decides if they can be repaired or need to be changed. He will communicate and report all activities and recommendations or abnormalities to the supervisor and the Oracle Planer.
