For over forty years, we have delivered high-quality aftermarket aerospace services that are affordable and customer-focused.PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIESPerform duties as Fueling Team Chief at a foreign military airfield location.Supervise up to ten (10 Fuel Technicians providing fueling/refueling/defueling services at an airfield/heliport supporting operational, training, and maintenance flights.Provide oversight for on-the-job training for host nation personnel working alongside the contractor personnel.Attend Company and MNG Airfield-related meetings/training as required.Responsible for coordinating all fueling activities with other airfield agencies to ensure safe operations.Maintain the highest ethical personal and professional standards.POSITION SCOPE AND CHARTERHigh School Diploma required.Minimum 5 years experience working in Fuel servicing, preferably in a military environment.Supervisory experience required.Military Aviation Operations experience is preferred, especially AFSC 2F0X1 or Army MOS 92FMust be able to read, speak, write legibly and understand the English language.Must be comfortable working with host nation military personnel.Familiarization with ATP 3-04.17, AR 95-20 and DCMA 8210.1c. for Airfield Operations.Must have a valid state operators license and be able to pass the government licensing requirements.Must adhere to Company policies/procedures and management instruction.Ability to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information and Company Proprietary data* Will be required to travel when deemed necessary.As a government contractor, Vertex Aerospace requires all employees to be fully vaccinated as a condition of employment in accordance with Executive Order 14042.
