Job PurposeResponsible for planning and scheduling preventive maintenance activities, analyzing maintenance data, ensuring the reliability of systems, and acting as a subject matter expert for equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairKey Roles and ResponsibilitiesPolicies and Processes?Implement the function?s policies and follow the set processes to achieve the function?s objectivesCore Activities?Implement the annual and frequent maintenance plan covering all production and fabrication equipment and tools and their infrastructure, specifying maintenance type, maintenance service provider (if any), expected schedule, and need for replacement or installation of spare parts and ensure communicating the same to the Production Planning and Control function to ensure that capacity is reserved for maintenance activities.?Analyze maintenance data and equipment performance metrics, including availability, overall equipment effectiveness (OEE), reliability, and historical downtime data such as MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures) and MTTR (Mean Time to Repair); detect any trends or patterns that may indicate potential breakdowns and implement changes and improvements to address them proactively; identify opportunities for improvement based on the analysis of trends.?Implement guidelines, instructions, and controls for using production equipment, machines, and tools through training and raising awareness to preserve their good condition and increase longevity.?Coordinate with the manufacturers who provide maintenance and support services when needed to facilitate remote machine inspection and repair.?Coordinate with the Quality Control function to regularly calibrate and test equipment, gauges, and measurement devices to ensure they operate within set standards and specifications.?Determine the root causes of equipment failures and develop tactics for their prevention.?Coordinate with Procurement Function to purchase spare parts, tools, equipment, etc. and have them available on time to prevent operational interruptions.?Maintain accurate records of preventive maintenance activities, including work orders, maintenance schedules, and equipment histories.Perform ad-hoc and other duties related to the job as assigned by the Direct ManagerReports? Prepare reports covering the main activities required by the job role or any other customized reports as requested by the Direct Manager.
