1.˙˙˙˙˙˙Job OverviewThe Design Manager reports directly to the Design Director/ Office Manager and provide Architectural services to the Project Team(s) as requested.˙Specifically, the DM will be responsible for and undertake the following duties and activities.2.˙˙˙˙˙˙Duties and Activitiesa)˙˙˙Carry out Design & Production Drawings to the satisfaction of the client requirements,b)˙˙˙Lead, organize & manage design efforts in KSA as required,c)˙˙˙Liaise with HO staff for all design matters,d)˙˙˙Actively participate and assists the office manager in all project related daily matters,e)˙˙˙Lead & participate in Weekly/ Monthly progress meetings and prepare minutes of meeting,f)˙˙˙˙Lead & participate in design review of the Project(s) deliverables,g)˙˙˙Lead & participate in the review of Project Specifications and Documentation,h)˙˙˙Review deliverables of Design Consultants/ Sub-Consultants and ensure compliance with Agreement,i)˙˙˙˙˙Participate in Tender evaluation and screening,j)˙˙˙˙˙Liaison with the client and project Design team,k)˙˙˙Liaison/coordinate between the Q/S provider and the project team(s)l)˙˙˙˙˙Issue monthly Design/Construction progress reports,m)˙ Coordinate/issue bid documents,n)˙˙˙Coordinate/ analyse and make recommendation on Bids,o)˙˙˙Coordinate/ assist, liaise with the A/E?s with local municipality and Governing authorities,p)˙˙˙Ensure Permits and required licenses are obtained in a timely manner and being maintained throughout the duration,q)˙˙˙Maintain a current set of project documentation which includes the Design/ construction and their related addendums,r)˙˙˙˙The management of all project correspondence and documents,s)˙˙˙The preparation of project/ office correspondence, reports, and presentation,t)˙˙˙˙The management & co-ordination of all project planned meetings including, attendance and follow up on issues,u)˙˙˙Actively participate in marketing, client presentation, and follow up on leads to identify potential work opportunities,v)˙˙˙Any other requirement as directed by the Office Manager.
