Job Description

Core Purpose of the Job:Area Manager will oversee every aspects of operation under his region of responsibility according to the rules and regulations of the brand especially for the operation standard. In addition to the capability to lead, plan, train and supervise subordinates, Area manager must be able to work cooperatively for both with inside and outside workforce to achieve the ultimate job objective.Duties and Responsibilities:Administration aspect

  • Set up Key performance indicator (KPI) and action plan for both short and long term
  • Follow up and evaluate performance as they had been indicated.
  • Arrange meeting with all store supervisor within responsibility.
  • Report the individual store performance to the Operations manager.
  • Handle customer?s problem with polite and suitable manner.
Operation aspect
  • Ensure that the team is performing good enough to reach the 100% operation standard and be able to build the 100% customer satisfaction.
  • Control the sales, store expenses; COG, COL, Shop Expenses, and profit as they had been settled.
  • Help to examine and create the QSC 100% standard and also provide idea to prevent and fix emerging problems.
  • Train and coach Store manager to order and grant the postponing of inventory order. Also examine the inventory loss and inventory control.
  • Examine the quality of employee to ensure that they meet the 100% operation standard.
Human Resource Management aspect
  • Participate in the recruitment of management trainee with the human resource division to ensure the right standard of the candidates.
  • Plan the enrichment process for store manager and provide motivation and follow up for every level of employee.
  • Ensure the consistent attendance of employee in the training course.
  • Supervise and examine that the working period recording process of every employee is working right as it is specified in the roster.
  • Specify leave days for branch store manager and grant them on the basis of the rules and regulations of the firm.
  • Praise and reward those who performed good jobs and punish misconduct.
  • Evaluate the store supervisor and construct the development plan
Marketing aspect
  • Give explanations about the marketing qualification and follow them up to ensure that every workforce is capable to perform accordingly. Also provide suggestion about customer satisfaction, products and promotion media.
  • Provide selling suggestion and sales pushing advice including the recommendation about the marketing strategy that suite the location of the store.
Accounting and Financial aspect
  • Oversee the process of recording and producing report of cash requisition according to the rules and regulations of the firm
  • Analyze the earning summary to find the right course toward the success achievement.
  • Set up and adjust store budget and also control expenses as they had been organized.
Maintenance aspect
  • Follow up the action plan to ensure the ready, safety and beauty state of the place, the equipments and all devices according to the standard.
