Job Description

Head of Engineering COMP

  • Responsible for engineering of Brownfield modification on QGs existing facilities, as part of the essential scope to support COMP2 Projects start up (Major Compression Complexes) and Loading Facility
  • Ensures execution of the project is completed within approved project parameters including safety and quality.
  • Coordinates across multiple Compression EPC Contracts to ensure alignment in design.
  • Coordinates pooled, functional resources to provide oversight of contractor activities and ensure completion of Company responsibilities to achieve project objectives.
  • Has a critical role in ensuring alignment with both internal and external disciplines, functions, and stakeholders which is essential for achieving project objectives.
  • Owner of key process in particularly Qatargas Shutdown management plan, systems, and reviews which ensure the quality and completeness of technical deliverables required for proper execution of the work.
  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering
  • 15 years of broad experience in all project phases, i.e. engineering, procurement and construction, in particularly in Brownfield engineering
  • At least five (5) years of specific project in Brownfield execution especially into multi-disciplines engineering management role on a major offshore oil and gas facility project.
  • Worldwide experience with contractors and vendors, in particular those involved in the engineering of major offshore oil and gas facilities.
