RESPONSIBILITIES Develop custom applications/reports/workflows using Appian Suite (19+ versions), IntegrationObjects for exposing Appian Services etc.Should be Appian Certified Senior/Lead Developer.Analyze requirements and prepare Functional Specifications document for objects to be developedin Appian based on Business Requirements Document.Good understanding of Appian architecture, Appian runtime processes and performance.Understanding of Appian process models and BPMN standards.Conducting analysis and identifying process improvement opportunities. Experience in developing Appian system components such as business rules, triggers, email, andalerts etc.Troubleshoot complex Appian application problems, and server issues, including clientenvironments, application configuration, user permissions, and data accuracy.Resolve application outages, monitor production applications, and support the day- todayoperations of Appian Suite servers - including patches and upgrades.Ensure seamless integration with third party applications and data feeds from key businesssystems.Serve as subject matter expert and technical liaison to business for Appian Suite related matters.Document and maintain system configurations, application settings and code changes.Work with Customer team to develop appropriate application training resources for end-users.High-level understanding of Active Directory, AD security, TCP/IP, DNS, Load balancer, Firewall,SMTP.Provide any services related to Customer Appian BPM as deemed applicable by Customer.Any other software-related area deemed applicable by Customer for its Appian BPM (such astraining, setup, etc.)Perform other duties as assigned by the IT Manager.Experience in Appian Suite 19+ versionsExperience in all aspects of application development (analysis and design to implementation andsupport).Advanced application development experience and strong knowledge of Java.A good understanding of Infrastructure (hardware, software, data, networking).Good knowledge of Linux/Apache/Tomcat environments and administration knowledge.Experience developing Java based Web Services.Experience developing and deploying Appian Workflow applications.Experience in applying software development lifecycle, including analysis, design, configuration,development, and unit testing using Microsoft technologies.Experience in third party integration (SharePoint and others software).Strong knowledge of Webservices (RESTFUL/XML based)Experience in the application SecurityThe candidates should be Fluent in English - written and spoken and additionally English /Arabic written and spoken is preferred.
