A successful candidate will have experience managing a structured and agile software development lifecycle, mentoring, training, and motivating his team, partnering effectively, and planning cross-dependencies across the organization with Product and technology leads, architects, production management and senior leadership. In this position, you will be relied on to:Design and Development

• Play a key role in setting the technical direction for the project
• Define, design, develop, test, deploy, and support microservices that comprise mission-critical enterprise applications
• Automate development, testing, and deployment processes
• Collaborate with Application development, Architecture and Product team.
• Apply quality assurance best practices to all products

Team building/Lead/Mentor Junior resource

• Act as the coach and mentor to team members on their assigned project tasks
• Develop a cohesive software engineering team and ensure their continued success
• Conduct product work reviews with team members

To qualify for this position, you need:

• BE/B.Tech/MCA with 12+ years of IT experience and should have proven course work in several computer software, algorithms, data structures, programming languages subject areas
• 10+ years minimum experience utilizing Java platforms and technologies for development of mission-critical enterprise applications
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented principles
• Strong understanding of REST architectural style, RESTful APIs and RESTful Web Services
• Experience working with the core Spring Framework, Spring Boot and Spring Cloud
• Minimum 5+ experiences on either Private (PCF) OR Public cloud (AWA, Azure etc.,)
• Should have experience in Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD) supported by Jenkins or similar automation servers
• Java performance tuning, debugging & Profiling Tools
• Working knowledge of utilizing and administering Software Configuration Management (SCM) tools (e.g., GIT/Bitbucket, SVN) for software development
• Highly self-motivated, able to manage and deliver in an innovative and fast-paced environment.
• Additionally, demonstrate a depth of knowledge in some of the following areas:

• Domain-driven design (DDD)
• Generics, Lambda Expressions, and Streams
• Building mission-critical applications based on Microservices Architecture
• Test automation with Cucumber
• Software development using TDD techniques
• SQL/NoSQL database technologies
• Strong understanding of Event-Driven Architecture
• Designing and building Reactive Systems
• Log management with Splunk or ELK
