Job Description

Overview This position is responsible for managing all the repair and maintenance activities across all the plant areas to ensure that the same remain in perfect working order all the time and the plant remains in compliance with AIBI and PGCS standards. The position also has to comply with all the local regulatory requirements as well. The job holder must meet all KPI targets set for his area of responsibility while remaining within the OPEX budget allocations. The position is also responsible to maintain and operate all the utilities equipment at the plant thereby ensuring timely and up to the standards delivery of all utilities to the production process as and when needed. The position also supports any and all projects initiated and executed at the plant thus supporting timely completion of the same while helping ensure that they are within budget and as per required standards. Position holder is also responsible for pep+, PeMM and Plant Resource Conservation agendas. Responsibilities Responsible to maintain area of responsibility as per legal, regulatory and AIBI/PGCS Standards (Quality and HSE) to keep state of readiness for all the audits. Ensure that all plant equipments and machinery are maintained in perfect working condition all the time and perform safe, smooth and trouble-free operation when needed. Act as lead for Site Automation agenda. Responsible for implementation of PepsiCo Maintenance Excellence Methodology (PeMM) at Plant Ensure efficient allocation and utilization of resources to meet maintenance targets while executing Preventive, Predictive as well as Breakdown maintenances. Ensure effective utilization of Inventory Management for engineering stock management/monitoring of consumable materials/spare parts inventory and their consumption for maintaining all the equipment in working condition. Lead ReCon agenda at Plant to meet all resource conservation targets. Maintain all Utilities equipment at the plant in perfect working order and deliver the required utilities to the production operations as and when needed. Manage R&M and utilities (Electricity, Gas, Fuel and Water) related expenses within budget and plan. Ensure timely annual maintenance of the boilers at the plant with minimum disruption to production operations while also complying with all regulatory requirements. Provide support in planning as well as execution of capital projects at the plant. Implement standard requirements & take all necessary actions in area of responsibility for GEHSMS compliance. Lead overall pep+ agenda at site Qualifications Bachelor?s Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering from a recognized university Work experience of 5 to 7 Years in a multi-national environment with exposure towards process industry and hands-on work capability. Suitable proficiency in Microsoft Office, SAP & Microsoft Outlook Strong Communications and Analytical Skills Capability to work under pressure Some experience of Human Resource Management particularly at workers level
