It caters to students not only from Pakistan but across the world.ResponsibilitiesReporting to Assistant Dean, Undergraduate Programmes; you will be responsible for:

  • Planning, organising, managingand leading the functions of the academic programmes in SONAM
  • advisingAssistant Deans in formulating and achieving strategic goals to sustain and further improve the delivery of world-class and internationally validated undergraduate and graduate programmes at SONAM, AKU
  • providingadministrative assistance to faculty and handlinglogistics for academic workshops, conferences, short courses, summer programmes, and other academic activities
  • liaisingwith speakers and academics in-house and external, communicating withrelevant details, as required, receivingand organisingpresentations, papers, and other materials
  • promotingan efficient administrative system for the department.
Requirements:You should have:
  • a Bachelors degree from an HEC recognised or reputable foreign university/institution
  • at least two years prior experience in similar role preferably within Higher Education
  • excellent communication skills and meticulous approach to documentation
  • outstanding interpersonal skills
  • an ability to write formal letters and produce concise and well-presented reports
  • demonstratable organisational and planning skills with the ability to identify, pre-empt, and review potential issues with regard to the organisation, management, and delivery of educational programmes
  • proficiency in usage of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and internet
  • ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, and provide support to multiple stakeholders.
