Job Description

Operations Management:? Oversee all aspects of laundry operations, including sorting, washing, drying, folding, and packaging.? Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality services.? Monitor and optimize laundry processes to improve productivity and minimize turnaround time.? Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards.2. Staff Management:? Recruit, train, and supervise laundry staff, including supervisors, attendants, and technicians.? Set performance expectations and provide regular feedback and coaching to enhance team performance.? Schedule staff shifts, manage workloads, and ensure adequate staffing levels to meet customer demand.? Foster a positive work environment, encourage teamwork, and resolve staff issues or conflicts.3. Equipment and Facility Management:? Maintain and oversee laundry equipment, ensuring proper functioning, maintenance, and repairs.? Coordinate with maintenance technicians and service providers to promptly address equipment issues.? Manage laundry supplies and inventory, ensuring availability and cost-effective procurement.? Ensure cleanliness, organization, and proper maintenance of the laundry facility.4. Customer Service and Satisfaction:? Ensure exceptional customer service by promptly addressing customer inquiries, concerns, or complaints.? Monitor customer satisfaction levels and implement strategies to enhance customer experience.? Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers and identify opportunities for business growth.? Implement customer feedback mechanisms to continuously improve services.5. Financial Management:? Develop and manage the laundry business budget, ensuring profitability and cost control.? Monitor financial performance, analyze key metrics, and implement strategies to achieve revenue targets.? Track and manage laundry pricing, ensuring competitiveness and profitability.? Prepare financial reports, forecasts, and analysis to support decision-making.6. Business Development and Marketing:? Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including contracts with hotels, hospitals, and other potential clients.? Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones.? Conduct market research, monitor industry trends, and stay updated on competitor activities.? Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns.7. Quality Assurance and Continuous Improvement:? Implement quality control measures to ensure high standards of laundry services.? Conduct regular inspections and audits to assess the quality of laundry processes and outputs.? Identify areas for improvement and implement initiatives to enhance efficiency and service quality.? Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies to drive operational excellence.8. Regulatory Compliance:? Ensure compliance with local regulations, environmental guidelines, and labor laws.? Maintain proper documentation and records related to permits, licenses, and safety regulations.? Collaborate with relevant authorities and agencies to ensure adherence to regulations.Qualifications:1. Bachelor's degree in business administration, hospitality management, or a related field. Relevant certifications or training in laundry operations or managementare a plus.2. Proven experience in managing a laundry business or similar operational role.3. Strong knowledge of laundry operations, equipment, and industry best practices.4. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.5. Solid understanding of financial management principles and experience in budgeting and cost control.6.
