Job Description

Employment: Full Time Job Duration: Permanent Employment -To be responsible for the management of Complete Proposal / Estimating activities of Projects being Tendered for large integrated Mechanical Projects in Oil & Gas, Fertilizers, Power and Petrochemical sectors.-To ensure the proposal/estimation processes are in place -Contribute to the creation and implementation of best practice, cost estimating vision, strategy, processes and procedures to aid and improve operational performance"-Ensure that the organization has a robust cost estimating / Proposal process in place to meet the Company Targets.-Leading in Proposal preparation, presentation and Securing new orders.-Leading the meeting with Management, Customer, Sub contractors to present, Negotiate and resolving the issues.-Identification, Evaluation and ranking of risks in the Tender as well as developing a strategy to manage the risks to Company.-Developing and implementing the Winning Strategy for the Tender.-Utilize cost methodologies and tools and appropriate software models and packages to prepare and maintain reliable and accurate data.-Review, analyze the Job Cost report and develop Historical information, Lesson Learnt and make recommendations for the process improvement.-Analyze, Update and capture the Market Conditions and hunt for New Opportunities / Tenders.-Ensure appropriate monitoring, reporting systems and procedures are in place to meet objectives.-Manage, coach and develop a high performing cost estimating team that meets agreed objectives and which delivers best practice results, added value and continuous improvements.-Develop and maintain strong relationships with Internal and external stakeholders to ensure Optimal performance.Core Competencies-Construction Knowledge-Planning, organizing, delegating-Tendering Process-Market Standards-Basic Skills-Excellent Communication-Negotiation Skills-Decision Making-Personal & Interpersonal Skills-Software Skills Required-MS Office suite (Word, Excel (advanced), PowerPoint) Outlook)-Primavera P6/MS Projects will be preferred. " REQUIREMENTS: Qualification Required-B.E / B.Tech in Mechanical EngineeringExperience Required-18 to 20 years-To be responsible for the management of Complete Proposal / Estimating activities of Projects being Tendered for large integrated Mechanical Projects in Oil & Gas, Fertilizers, Power and Petrochemical sectors.-To ensure the proposal/estimation processes are in place -Contribute to the creation and implementation of best practice, cost estimating vision, strategy, processes and procedures to aid and improve operational performance"
