Demand and Forecasting Planner urgently required for a Reputed Dairy company in Oman.Nationality: Any nationality.Salary: 800 - 1000 OMR + Family Status Health insurance, Tickets.Education : Bachelor?s Degree / Certificate in Demand and Forecasting Management.Years of Experience:Minimum of 7+ years? experience in a related position. Knowledge of FMCG Food products is a must and the dairy industry is desirable.Skills :The main purpose of this position is to handle the company?s overall market demand forecastingusing a sophisticated tool specifically made to capture all aspects of market dynamics such asseasonality, competitions, events etc.The role to facilitate the sales & Branding team?s activities like providing daily/weekly demandforecasting of sales volumes and marketing materials. Also, to provide necessary MIS, administrativeassistance and support to the senior management team and sales team.? The Demand and Forecast Specialist must be of strong personality, as he gathers the views of many differentcompany factions/divisions, to draw a corporate view on future sales.? The candidate must be highly numeric, with a statistical mind.and the ability to understand the complexity of the various algorithms used in forecasting and industry principles.? The Planner should be a highly analytical person, strong enough in character to gather ideas and summarize into a sales forecast for the common good.? The candidate to have database experience and criticalability is to manage the numerous what if scenarios to understand the drivers to sales growth or decline.? To be a team player, with an open mind and the ability to draw rational conclusions with a very strong food industry background and understanding of market dynamics.?
