Job Description

  • ? Assist in collection and documentation of goods and spare parts needed from various departments.? Investigate pricing and availability of goods and spare parts to timely meet the needs of the project team and other departments.? Review planned orders, create RFQ and manage procurement process.? Track orders and confirms system lead times, delivery dates and costs and ensure timely delivery.? Reviews, updates, and maintains purchase orders until they are closed.? Prepare purchasing reports.? Coordinate and Provide assistance to accounting or other related departments to resolve any issues related to suppliers or material.? Enter order details (e.g. vendors, quantities, prices) into internal database.? Communicate order status to stake holders and department heads and maintain excellent internal customer services.? Research potential vendors.? Compare and evaluate offers from suppliers.? Follow up offers from suppliers (price, contractual & technical aspects, planning, QA/HSE aspects.? Negotiate contract terms of agreement and pricing.? Review quality of purchased items.? Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information and invoices.? Coordinate with warehouse staff/ Material control to ensure proper storage and distribution.? Keep the Purchasing Lead/ Manager informed of all activities or problems and submit reports as requested by management
