Job Description

Four Star Hotel is looking for sales personnel who will be responsible for acquisition and maintenance of all key market segments to ensure hotel revenue meets or exceeds individual goals/targets as well budget and asserts maximum revenue sources in hotel.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Successfully achieve or exceed quarterly individual pace/production goals based on assigned markets.
  • Represent hotel by soliciting, responding to and negotiating with persons requiring business travel negotiated accounts as well as travel agencies to increase market share.
  • Solicit accounts that provide individual transient business that ensures maximization of revenue in order to achieve and/or exceed revenue goals.
  • Grow existing relationships with assigned Local corporate accounts
  • Research, develop and maintain marketing opportunities for corporate transient accounts
  • Solicit new and existing accounts to meet/exceed revenue goals through telephone solicitation, outside sales calls, site inspections and written communication.
  • Develop and continually maintain knowledge of market trends, competition and customers and target accounts
  • Negotiate contracts with customers and commission agreements with third party agencies.
  • Solicit, negotiate and book new and repeat business through various efforts including prospecting, site tours, sales blitzes, prompt and competent follow-up on leads/referrals, use of reader board analysis, and networking in order to maximize room revenue to meet and/or exceed individual and team sales and revenue goals.
  • Develop and continually enhance relationships with key accounts, business and travel industry accounts, community organizations and professional associations to maintain high visibility and increase market share.
  • Successfully and consistently achieve minimum weekly sales activities requirements. Track all weekly sales activities including goal-to-current production
  • Conduct sales presentations to clients and ownership verbally and using the latest technology
  • Conduct and create Fam Trips for meeting planners/companies
  • Lead Follow up/ Lead generation
  • Conduct Site Inspections
  • Attend trade shows as needed
  • Travel as needed, to complete personal sales calls and presentations to customers within your discipline/ region
  • Build creative proposals
  • Negotiate and execute Contracts that are fair and profitable
