Performing eye refraction using phoropter, trial lens, auto refractometer, and hand held refractometer prescribing different types of optical lenses, both for single and double vision multifocal glass and plastic lenses.
Dispensing eyeglasses and contact lenses to patient.
Fitting contact lenses viz daily wear extended wear and toric contact lenses.
Measuring corneal curvature for contact lenses fitting by using opthalmometer or keratometer.
Measuring and testing optical and contact lenses precision measuring and testing instrument.
You will also directly assist the customers, to help them to choose the best suitable frames, sunglasses and lenses depending on their requirement.
You should know how to adjust the spectacle to the comfort of the customer.
You have to introduce new products if anything is available and make the maximum sale.
You have to display the frames and sunglasses properly, neat and tidy.
Make sure that there are enough stock of new models of frames and sunglasses on display.
Make sure that display of frames, sunglasses as well as contact lenses are neat & tidy.
Showroom should be kept in well presentable situation.
You will report to the management of the developments in the showroom.
You should have a thorough knowledge of the products which we dispense.
You also have to check time to time regarding the latest catalogues of our new product.
Employee should respect their senior staff.
Avoid argument with other colleagues especially in front of the customer.
You should have a full knowledge of the right lenses to be dispensed.
You should be ready to attend all training & seminars to get enough knowledge, whenever required by the management.
Being also a salesperson in the showroom, you must be well versed in English. Employee should always come to the showroom well dressed with tidy hair and polished shoes, and have a well-groomed appearance.
Personal hygiene must be observed including, but not limited to: the clothes worn, the perfume used and the likes. You will have to devote all your best endeavors to discharge your duties and shall not enter into any other employment other than the employment mentioned herein.
Also undertake any other related work assigned by the management.
