Site Structural Engineer

Job Description

We are currently seeking candidate forSenior Structural Site Engineerposition to represent BH on our ongoing and future sites, primarily in Delhi/Mumbai but expandable to Pan India. As part of this, review compliance of the structural works against the specified technical requirements in the Design Deliverables and Contract Documents supported by the Buro Happold India based design teams. The individual must be able to demonstrate a strong track record of working to deliver complex site projects for an Engineering Consultancy.Site Structural EngineerWork Experience: 15 to 20 yearsEducation: B-Tech CivilKnowledge: Good knowledge of structural design and execution. Must have completed and handed over at least 2 projects of over 100,000 sqm. Good communication and team leading skills. Knowledge of AutoCad and structural design softwares.The role is based in Delhi/Mumbai.Responsibilities:

• Inspection and approval of work - shuttering, reinforced steel and concrete pour as per Consultant drawing during execution
• Signing of Work Information Report
• Checking of material being used at site is as per approved MAR (Material Approval report) and subsequently signing of MIR (Material Inspection Request).
• Review and approve work sequence methodology and progress for structural works
• Review of GFC drawings before issue to site for PT and conventional RCC and other structure related works
• Coordination with Consultants Buro-Happold for closure of RFI and other issues related to structural works and BIM related works
• Review and approval of test reports for structural works
• Quality checking
• Resolve day to day issues at site and any changes related to work execution
• Co-ordinate with other Consultants and contractors to resolve any clashes between structural works and other services/design work
