Since 2014, Niagara College KSA (NC KSA) has operated technical and vocational training colleges throughout the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in support of the Vision 2030 initiative and in partnership with the Colleges of Excellence (CoE). Headquartered in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, NC KSA provides community and customized training based on Niagara College Canadas expertise and international track records as one of Canada?s most innovative and enterprising applied learning post-secondary institutions. With a strong focus on developing ?world-? and ?work-? ready graduates, NC KSA specializes in delivering a number of quality programs designed to prepare young men and women for successful entry into the workforce in the areas of Business, Event Management, Occupational Health & Safety, Information Technology and Graphic Design. All NC KSA campuses also offer a foundation program for English language development.Applicants are invited for the position of Advisor, Student Recruitment, Admissions & Services at Niagara College KSA in Makkah. Reporting to the Manager, Student Recruitment, Admissions and Services, the Advisor, Student Recruitment, Admissions & Services acts in accordance with the college?s strategic enrollment plan to deliver a broad range of recruitment and admissions advisory services to prospective applicants, parents and high school influencers.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Provides recruitment and admissions related services and information to potential applicants, parents, and community stakeholders
  • Maintains strong communications linkages within the college, secondary schools and local community stakeholders to advise, inform and encourage support and participation
  • Assists in the development and implementation of effective recruitment and marketing strategies to support the college?s strategic enrollment plan
  • Initiates, researches, prepares and responds to requests from the public for program information
  • Coordinates and participates in off-campus recruitment activities such as high school visits and community events for potential students
  • Provides admissions information and application support through personal interviews and group information sessions
  • Develops and delivers presentations to secondary schools and on-campus and community events
  • Communicates with potential students, community stakeholders and key influencers in the high school market to recruit students and build program awareness
  • Advise potential students regarding career choices, program availability, admissions requirements, and selection criteria
  • Updates the college?s Student Information System with documents from applicants
  • Evaluates individual applications and updates students? information such as communications, program actions and statuses
  • Assists with preparing appropriate and market specific admissions packages
  • Processes initial student applications and communicates with applicants on the Colleges of Excellence portal
  • Act as the main point of contact between students, parents and college staff and faculty
  • Develop, maintain and manage student records, attendance and communication details
  • Provide supplemental advising and academic services to students on a daily walk-in basis
  • Provide assistance for designated educational transactions (e.g., pre-registration/ registration schedule, drops/adds, withdrawals, graduation requirements)
  • Develop, maintain and monitor attendance, tracking reports for internal and external stakeholders
  • Control and monitor the student government stipend process
  • Advise and counsel at-risk students by providing proactive strategies to promote academic success, increased attendance and participation
  • Assist in scheduling and planning campus events, including new student information sessions, orientations and open houses
  • Liaise with external and internal stakeholders to plan and implement on and off-campus events and activities directly related to community events, recruitment and extracurricular activities
  • Update, maintain and monitor internal & external student databases to manage student records, enrolment and communication
  • Develop and facilitate on-campus activities in intramural sports and recreational activities
