Duties And Responsibilities:? Identify the common hazards & unsafe practices likely to be found in the workplace & know the appropriate protective measures to be taken.? Review and assist work groups in the development of site Job Safety Analyses and Risk Assessments and monitor their implementation with the site management.? Promotions of safety awareness of workforce at all levels through proactive attitude within the project team and contractors? Incident investigation, root cause analysis and timely close outs of accident/incident reports.? Timely issuance of corrective action requests for immediate action directly to subcontractor HSE Management.? Maintain inspections of the job site and report any unsafe acts or conditions to subcontractor HSE for immediate corrective actions.? Assist in the formal investigation of accidents/incidents & near misses and recommend corrective action measures.? Preparation and submittal of Weekly & Monthly Safety Reports˙? Participate in Emergency drills, trainings, walk troughs and audits.? Follow up inspections to ensure that corrective actions have been fully acted /accomplishedReporting lineThe HSE Engineer will report to the HSE Manager.
