We OfferAs Documentation Specialist you will be responsible to handle some of the following tasks while based in Bahrain:
  • B/L preparation and management.
  • Inbound and outbound documentation.
  • SI, Arrival Notice, and other inbound/outbound related documentation.
  • Team player with proven ability to work under pressure.
  • Skills of multi-tasking and prioritizing, planning work activities efficiently to meet deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent follow-up.
Key Responsibilities
  • Process Shipping Line documents or EDI, send pre-alert and inform schedule to customer as well as co-ordinate with all department, colleague and manager to improve KPI.
  • Preparation of daily reports and delivery schedule.
  • Handle customer complaints and enquiries. Contact with Customers, Air-Lines, Shipping Line and overseas partners to ensure all concerned documents are timely submitted to/by customers or by other stakeholders before deadline in a timely manner.
  • Booking and B/L management.
  • Inbound cargo receiving and Outbound cargo releasing.
  • Primary point of contact for Customers, Shipping Line, and Overseas partners and ensure smooth execution of the end-to-end shipment cycle.
  • Have good business knowledge / process understanding of Freight Forwarding (Ocean & Air) to provide a value add to the customers through effective business solutions.
  • Respond to all enquiries in a timely and accurate manner & escalate difficulty to Line Manager.
  • Prepare and submit all documents in a timely and accurate manner and actively track shipment status to keep the internal/external stakeholders informed of the status.
  • Maintain and update ERP in effective and proactive manner.
  • Preparing daily, weekly and monthly reports.
  • Maintain a customer centric approach thereby helping to avoid occurrence of errors and take preventive measures to eliminate repetition of errors.
  • Maintain effective and proactive communication with all the stakeholder to enable seamless process flow.
