We provide the tools and processes which enable exponential growth supporting internal customers across the organization and our massive community of external JumpCloud users. We need you to bring your abilities to listen empathically, communicate widely, define thoughtfully, build iteratively, and lead boldly to help the BSS team build JumpCloud?s exciting future. This role works under minimal supervision, relying on experience and judgment to ensure the appropriate level of quality is incorporated into BSS projects. The successful candidate will demonstrate proficiency with a highly collaborative approach, exhibiting excellent problem solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills.What you?ll be doing:+The Quality Engineer is a key position within the BSS team at JumpCloud to enable high quality delivery of projects and enhancements.+ The Quality Engineer will be working in an agile cross-functional team of developers, product owners & BSAs to develop manual and automated test cases for new functionality and to increase regression coverage. + Execute back end, API and Integration testing as well as any adhoc and exploratory testing+ Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback+ Create a detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases+ Design, develop and execute automation scripts using testing tools+ Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defects+ Be familiar with testing tools and methodologies+ Create data sets to be used in test automation activities. Perform software configurations and deployments to manage your testing system for successful testing resultsWe?re looking for:+ Good experience testing applications on Salesforce and NetSuite+ 3-4 years of experience as Quality Assurance Engineer+ Solid understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle utilizing Agile methodologies+ Strong experience in different testing techniques such as UI testing, regression testing, smoke testing etc+ Strong analytical, organizational and problem solving/decision making skills+ Sense of urgency and commitment to providing the best support possible to both internal and external clients+ Very strong communication and interpersonal skills+ Self motivated and proactivePreferred Qualifications:+ 4-year degree in Computer Science/related field or a combination of education and work experience+ Experience in Test Automation Tools (Selenium, Provar etc)+ Experience in programming (Java, JavaScript, Python etc)+ Experience in SQL #LI-LS1Where you?ll be working/Location:This role is remote in the country of Lebanon.
