We get results.Get air/sea freight rates from carriers and develop strong rapport with all the carriers & service providers for long term agreements and space & equipment availabilityNegotiate credit terms, freight & transportation rates with all vendorsAnalyze the cost elements to be able to provide better rates, to assess agents/vendors across all our network & maintain profitabilityGenerate a pricing proposal based on the most reliable information acquired by comparing rates from numerous channels and network operators.Gather information from market based on the going rates for different destinations in the industry, in order to remain competitiveInform the freight manager of any enhancements or particular problemsPerform a regular analysis to the won/lost queries and suggest enhancements enabling to secure sales leadsDerive best pricing solutions in order to maximize profitabilityMaintain the database of contract rates making it easily accessible to all involved in a timely mannerAssure any changes made to services/rates by service providers are circulatedDevelop and implement business, marketing, and advertising plans such as promotional shipping rates and campaigns if neededPreparing tender & project quotes If neededSupport and follow up with Sales teamAdhere to company compliance and sustainability corporate policies and standardsAdditional Requirements:Good communication skillsHaving good command in: Problem Solving/Reasoning skillsAttentive to DetailGood in Time Management and meeting deadline* Conceptual Thinker & Innovative
