Job Description

The HVAC Technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in commercial buildings. They will ensure that HVAC systems operate efficiently and effectively to provide a comfortable environment for occupants. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently.Responsibilities:

  1. Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems in accordance with manufacturers instructions and safety guidelines.
  2. Perform regular maintenance tasks such as cleaning and replacing filters, lubricating motors, and inspecting electrical connections.
  3. Detect and diagnose problems in HVAC systems using various diagnostic tools and equipment.
  4. Repair or replace defective components, such as compressors, motors, and thermostats.
  5. Test HVAC systems to ensure proper functionality and performance.
  6. Ensure compliance with local regulations and codes when installing or repairing HVAC systems.
  7. Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and addressing concerns from clients.
  8. Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed on HVAC systems.
  9. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in HVAC technology.
  10. Collaborate with other team members and contractors on larger projects.
Preferred Candidate:
  1. Minimum of 1-5 years of experience as an HVAC Technician.
  2. Knowledge of HVAC systems, including electrical and mechanical components.
  3. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  4. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
  5. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  6. Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines.
  7. Valid drivers license and clean driving record.
  8. Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various weather conditions.
  9. Relevant certifications or licenses are a plus.
