Job Description

The company is looking for an executive chef creative and proficient in all aspects of food preparation and kitchen management. You will be ?the chief? and maintain complete control of the kitchen.Responsibilities

  • Clarify and apply preparation techniques according to well-designed recipes
  • Display exceptional leadership by providing a positive work environment
  • Counsel employees as needed and have a professional approach to management
  • Provide direction for day to day operation and follow up on execution
  • Understand all employee positions to fill in when necessary
  • Review and select staff that are a fit to train or work at the restaurant
  • Be involved in menu preparation and development
  • Determine how plates should be presented & ensure consistency throughout
  • Ensure food safety and hygiene polices in the kitchen
  • Ensure maintenance and cleanliness for all equipment and tools in the kitchen
  • Ensure proper receiving and storing for perishable items
  • Interact with customers for feedback
  • Perform staff meetings for work plans and duties
  • Communicate constantly with front of the house to ensure smooth operational flow
