For more information, visit Worley.comBe part of the team focusing on growing the MMM sector portfolio across all commodities in KSA.We are looking to appoint a Business Development Manager for the MMM Sector based in Saudi Arabia. The role includes taking direct responsibility for the MMM sales activity in Kingdom, cultivating client relationships and to grow the business via a strong sales process aligned to local, regional and global strategy. Working with the MMM Sales Sector Lead for Middle East, Africa and Central Asia, you will play an active role in shaping the growth of Worley in the MMM sector within KSA.The role will require active collaboration with Sector Sales Leads, Operations and Inside Sales (Proposals team) to position and differentiate the company and secure profitable work. The BD Manager will be accountable for delivering new MMM award sales plans, including overall accountability for closing the deal for identified opportunities across the MMM sector in Kingdom.Primary Responsibilities:These responsibilities are accomplished by leading the development, maintenance and advancements of new and existing client relationships through focused sales strategies based on adding client value which results in new business.Responsibilities include:

  • The geographical region includes Kingdom of Saudi Arabia; however responsibility will also include driving client development strategies with global cross functional teams in collaboration with the Sector Sales Lead.
  • Driving client development strategies in collaboration with Operational, Functional, Commercials and Sales teams.
  • Responsible for developing, nurturing and maintaining relationships with Clients.
  • Develop, maintain, and advance assigned customer relationships through account strategies and customer contacts driving business advocacy and added value.
  • Cultivate new clients in the Resources sector and assuming primary responsibility for Client relationships and associated Sales Strategies.
  • Lead the development of win plans, facilitate call planning and issuance of call reports to all stakeholders throughout the GSM process.
  • Work closely with the MMM Inside Sales Manager to drive the proposal in end game, ensure key win themes are incorporated and work with legal, assurance and estimating/commercial teams.
  • Leverage Customer Success Platform (CSP) to manage accounts, opportunities and maximize the use of CSP throughout the GSM process. Responsible for data integrity in CSP.
  • Working collaboratively with commercial and legal departments to lead pricing and contractual strategy development, pricing reviews, support bid and proposal estimate development, and customer commercial negotiations.
  • Deliver individual and team sales financial goals / budgets and targets.
  • Continuously look for ways to communicate the LIFE passion into the lives of our employees, suppliers and clients.
  • Provide visible HSES leadership.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in business development roles within organisations that are focused on technical services to the MMM Sector.
  • A thorough and complete understanding of the KSA natural resources industry, specifically within the engineering, procurement and construction markets.
  • Must have a strong partnership with operational teams including: Manager of Projects, Manager of Operations and Managers of Sustaining Capital for the development and execution of our business growth initiatives.

  • A relevant tertiary qualification within an engineering discipline is preferred.
  • An additional qualification within a commercial or business-related field is also desirable.
