Accountant (Saudization Program for Saudi local talent)Adecco is currently recruiting for an Accountant for our client, a global packaging manufacturing company. The primary function of the successful candidate would be to provide accurate financial reporting and be adaptable to all accounting functions. You will be a team player who enjoys working independently and be self-driven.As a part of our Saudization program to support organisations with Saudi Nationalisation Scheme, we are looking to hire Saudi National talent only.This role is for a permanent placement based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. General accounting duties to include: Reconciling accounts, payable and receivable, journal entries, tax and treasury knowledge and respect for compliance and auditing. Process driven to be adaptable to assist other teams as required. Excellent communicator with all internal and external stakeholders. Providing technical advice to functional and operational managers. To be self-driven and confident to work independently.The Successful Applicant must have: Degree Qualification in Accounting or Finance. Be a member of SOCPA Arabic speaking with good working knowledge of English. SAP or Oracle Experience preferred. 3-4 years experience in a similar role with working knowledge of KSA tax/zakat.
