Job Description

Technical Support

  • Develop and maintain in Siebel Architecture and Data Model and proficient with Siebel Tools and Client in configuration and customization of Siebel Objects at multiple levels like but not limited to Applets, Business Components, Screens, Views, Joins, Links, MVGs, Pick Lists, Associate & Shuttle Applets, Toggle Applets and Drilldowns.
  • Develop and implement Siebel Declarative Configuration Alternatives, Siebel Scripting (Server & Browser), Workflow Processes, Workflow Policies, Runtime events and Business Services
  • Siebel Administration & Management (System & Application) and Production Support
  • Involved in Siebel Design, Upgrading and Development including Business Modelling, Requirements Gathering, Analysis, Configuration, Integration, Testing, Migration, Administration and Deployment with business acceptance sign-off.
  • Deliver customizations using Siebel Tools that conform to user standards.
  • Ensure that applications implemented are stable, reliable, scalable and secure.
Business Support
  • Specialize in working with technical staff to create, interpret, and implement business requirements into technical specifications.
  • Discuss with the business; prepare business requirements document, prepare application architecture, design solution, build, test and implement various modules of CRM meeting the requirements specifications that deliver value to the business e.g. increasing productivity, improving customer service, raising levels of security, etc.
  • Provide training to internal clients during implementation and subsequently as refresher.
  • Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Business regarding Management Information.
  • Be responsible for understanding business requirements and aligning relevant Siebel functionalities to the requirements.
  • Use the functionalities of Siebel CRM to drive innovative customer solutions in collaboration with the wider business.
  • Develop and implement solutions to business ensuring the expected benefits (such as improved efficiency, improved customer service, etc) are achieved.
General
  • As a team member should share IT knowledge with other staff, through a combination of ad hoc assistance and formal training.
  • Ensure technical Documentation is prepared for all applications implemented using established standards.
  • Resolve application related problems reported by end-users within least possible time minimizing operational inconvenience to the users as per the Service Level Agreements.
  • Represent and support the wider Shared Services team to ensure that Shared Services is recognized as delivering value-added services based on a strong understanding of genuine business requirements and identifying solutions that are commercially viable, technically sensible and appreciated by the clients.
