Job Description

Our Exciting Opportunity:We are now looking for a Manager Infrastructure and Cloud that will function as a technical Manager/Lead for high visibility Infrastructure Services/cloud Native technologies and be responsible for defining all functional/technical aspects of the solution to include the planning, implementation, operations, technology identification, cost, and execution.You will:

• Work with and integrate technologies, cloud management (on-prem or remote) and converged infrastructure
• Be responsible for the overall planning and design of the virtual platform that includes Cloud (OpenStack, Vmware), KVM & Network
• Use their expertise in data and service-oriented architecture to develop cloud integration for efficient, effective, and secure use of cloud resources (NFVI) towards Virtual Network Function (VNF?s) requirements to meet business KPI?s
• Ensure and follow industry standards/best practice where applicable.
• Responsible for moving the Solutions/Services from an architecture phase to execution to deliver Transformation ambitions
• Responsible to monitor, Execute, report and plan the Capacity Management of System Hardware, Network, Databases / virtualization Layer resources.
• Responsible day-to-day system/node/HW level issues to ensure system stability and throughput.
• Responsible in Performance and Capacity Management, monitor capacity, implement alert Thresholds, Implement performance alert thresholds.
• Participate in customer meeting and follow up on Action items as per due timelines.
• Develop technical scope and analyses for RFI/RFQ on the Virtualized/non virtualized or Cloud Projects.
• Provide Support on the mission critical System during office hours & extend support in case of emergency requirements.
• Root Cause Analysis and action plan to fix issues permanently
• Good experience/knowledge in vmware/OpenStack/openshift technologies.
• Plan and design complete recovery in the event of a disaster.
• Process improvements/tools that will result in an increase in the team?s productivity and improvement in the user experience.
• Responsible to ensure availability of critical server and storage (SAN/NAS technology) environments.
• Participate in new Projects integrations in terms of physical installation, scoping, installation, and integrations.
• Ensure timely upgrade on the technologies across all infra domains.
• Ensure Patch Management on the respective infrastructure node/systems.
• Perform regular security monitoring to identify any possible intrusions.
• Repair and recover from hardware or software failures.
• Coordinate and communicate to stakeholders with impacted Node/system.
• Coordinate with 3PP for analysis, activity planning, implementation, and execution

To be successful in the role you must have:Bachelor level, in engineering (IT, Telecom) orEquivalentMore than 14 years of technical & managerial industry experience on Enterprise Infrastructure in a highly mission critical production environmentAdditional Requirements:

• Well Experienced in Private/public cloud architecture on NFVI (Software Defined Storage and networking), Networking (routing, switching, Security), Databases (Cassandra, MariaDB, Mysql, Progress etc), automation (dockers, K8 etc), Micro Services, Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) capabilities, Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS), Operating systems (Linux and MS), Open stack, VMware, openShift
• Effective people/Resource Management skills.
• Setting Target oriented Goals for team members aligning with organization goals.
• Experience in infrastructure architecture, planning & operations that brings together and integrates solutions across multiple vendors (e.g. OpenStack, Juniper Extreme, HP, F5, VMWare etc)
• Cloud architecture and Orchestration integration
• Private cloud architecture for scale out & integration to public cloud.
• Good understanding of Telco and IT System/solutions (covering, CRM, billing, provisioning etc).
• Ability to maintain a persistent, dedicated, and can-do attitude despite setbacks
• Skilled at Customer/stakeholder management.
• Innovative, proactive and customer focused
• Work well in a pressure situation
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills (Listening, Speaking, Reading & Writing)
• Influencing, Convincing and Negotiation Skills
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Self-driven and flexible
• Work well in a pressure situation
• Enterprise level working experience of VMware, Linux based platforms with thorough understanding.
• Knowledge and experience of storage technologies like SAN, FC etc. as required to support a mission critical IT Systems Infrastructure.
• Knowledge and experience of backup technologies i.e. Disk library, archiving solutions etc.
• Strong communication, organization, and people management skills
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to collaborate easily and effectively with peers, customers, management, and team members
