As a senior member of the engineering team you will be responsible for architecting and building new applications for our customers from the ground up. Our technology stack is continually evolving, but we have strong commitments to front-end technologies like Angular, Sass, and D3. You should be competent with these technologies but also continue to help drive us towards the latest and greatest new technologies in the web development ecosystem.What you?ll work on:
Design, develop, test, and implement data-rich, single page web applications, which are heavily transactional and multi-tiered, in Microsoft environment
AWS technologies and agile methodologies, including GitLab CI/CD, Docker, Terraform etc
Database development including stored procedures, performance tuning etc
Assist the Product Management group in specifying requirements into technical requirements
Collaborate with product owners to further value proposition of our applications
Provide level 2 & 3 support for your application, working closely with product and account management teams
What we look for:
Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science/related field
6-8 years? experience building large scale front-end applications developing single page applications using Angular (preferably 6+), React, Ember or similar in a Microsoft Environment (ASP.Net, C#, & SQL Server or related)
Working knowledge of AWS technologies and/or Serverless architectures
Fundamental knowledge of DevOps pipelines in Teamcity/ GitLab/ Azure
Ability to effectively communicate both verbal and written
Ability to work in team-oriented environment, and can work independently
Strong sense of ownership, urgency and drive
Strong troubleshooting skills
Experience working in an Agile Development environment is preferred
The following experience would be advantageous:
Competent writing unit and feature tests using Jest and Cypress
CSS 3 - including flex-box and animation
SASS, HTML 5
Source control and code reviews using Git/GitLab
Using JSON REST APIs in browser applications
Using websocket subscription/publishing for real-time features
Experience using GraphQL, RxJs, and D3
Experience with docker, terraform etc is a plus
Knowledge of HTML, CSS, XML, JavaScript, Angular
Data access through ADO.NET
WCF, Windows Services
Integration services experience, especially with MQ Series or Web Services
Knowledge of UML or similar design languages/methodologies
Experience working with off-shore resources
Financial domain knowledge is a plus
SOA / jQuery / HTML5
RESTful API development
