Employees based there manage day-to-day customer transactions and processes for the global businesses. This may include transactions for our retail bank such as processing loans, credit cards, insurance and mortgage applications, opening new accounts, and managing customer enquiries through contact centers and digital platforms.Employees in the Global Service Centers also run and manage operations for commercial bank customers. This includes processing credit applications, facilitating payments and managing the import and export transactions that enable customers to protect and grow their businesses through international trade.Role PurposeIn-line with the current regulatory and policy requirements, HSBC is committed to ensuring compliance with all sanctions? regulations and developing the highest and most effective standards for Financial Crime Detection.The Group List Management (GLM) team will monitor and control all watch lists used in sanctions? screening systems worldwide, with a focus on ensuring that all governance is met as described in the HSBC Global Sanctions? and AML policies and guidance. The team will work to high standards in a controlled process- driven environment with regular interaction with all regional Financial Crime Compliance teamsThis is a unique opportunity to work at one of the world?s leading investment banks in a cutting-edge compliance function, developing a global governance framework within sanctions screening.This role will specifically:

• Be responsible for leading the GLM team with currently 3 FTE on a daily basis to ensure timely and accurate completion of daily work
• Report to Head of GLM with accurate management information and be accountable for BAU deliverables
• Complete GLM change processes in line with approved activities
• Business lead for a List Governance Enterprise (LGE) pod aimed at enhancing efficiency and effectiveness of BAU
• In line with this, role holder will be required to conduct testing and be responsible for sign-offs of deliveries
• Responsible for prioritizing the pod workload to align with GLM targets
• Ensure that all Global Sanctions? watch list instructions are compliant with current global and local regulations and policy standards

We are currently seeking an ambitious individual to join this team in the role of ?AVP - List Management Utility, GSC?s?. In this role, you will be responsible for the following:ÿWhat you?ll do: Principal Accountabilities: Key Activities and Decision Making AreasImpact on the Business

• Oversee all screening list processing with respect to defined procedures
• Ensure all changed list data is communicated to specified internal teams and departments
• Complete periodicÿreviews of lists and list Items
• Responsible for production of accurate management information and sharing this with senior leaders and forums
• Be the business lead of an Agile pod, responsible for delivering stories to enhance GLM processes and proceduresÿ

Role Context

• This role is Bangalore-based, responding to and working with Global Financial Crime Risk teams
• The Group List Management team acts as gatekeepers and will monitor and maintain internal watch lists for Transactions and Name Screening
