Employment: Full Time Location: Bonjorno Factory - 6th of OctoberCompany: Nestle CairoFull-timePosition Summary-Ensure that factory has the proper hygiene condition and do the routine and ensure quality, food safety requirement of finished products is in place while supporting the factory in specific areas of expertise: food safety, NGMP, HACCP, auditing, pathogen monitoring.-This role is responsible for developing, and managing the Food Safety Management System for Bonjorno factory.-Working with department managers to ensure ongoing compliance and audits, elevating of standards and appropriate training of personnel.A day in the life of-Supports activities to achieve compliance with the Nestle Integrated Management System requirements and other applicable instructions and standards and assist production to comply to product specific standard-Delivers training for their specific areas of expertise e.g. hygiene, foreign body, HACCP-Organizes periodic HACCP reviews for his/her specific area as well as maintain QMS updated.-Ensure deliver training of HACCP and Lead the Factory HACCP studies-Ensure product briefs are implemented for export products.-Ensure Implementation of NGMP and Conducting NGMP Audits-Ensure proper functioning of the product launch, status control and traceability elements to protect Nestle products-Perform product release process according to Nestle Quality standards and release the product after the evaluation of coming documents and support in verification of process release checks-Performs trouble shooting and corrective action follow-up of non-conformities.-Follow up of pathogen monitoring plan in his/her category/s area-Follow Artwork Approval Processes and participate in new product development process-Perform any other duty/tasks assigned to him/her from time to time as per the business need-Assess Food Defense and Food Fraud in his/her specific area.-Promote continuous quality awareness and commitment to quality across the unit to ensure high result performance.-Define and update the specific quality procedures, instructions and tools in the area of technical expertise to have a clear path of the requested objectives.-Contribute to define and deliver quality KPIs to assist in evaluating the work performance.-Set operational objectives in collaboration with the food safety team to ensure the implementation of Nestle quality mastership system. REQUIREMENTS: What will make you successful-Senior Food safety specialist must have good organizational skills so that he/she can prioritize duties and, when required, assign tasks to other staff in his team.-He/she also need to be capable of working independently and meeting deadlines effectively, so he/she also need independent work and time management skills.-Attention to detail is important because they need to ensure that all regulations are met when investigating issues or reviewing operational procedures.-They also need communication skills to produce reports or inform all stock holders of their findings and recommendations.-Bachelors degree of Food Science, Science, Pharmacy or Agriculture (preferred food engineering)-Must have at least minimum of 6 years of experience.-Proven experience in international food safety standards-HACCP knowledge is a must.-FSSC V5 lead auditor/awareness is a Must.-ISO 9001:2015 lead auditor/awareness is a Must.-Excellent attention to detail demonstrated through strong analytical skills.-Excellent verbal and written communication skills.-Experience working in dynamic and developing contexts.-Experience as a facilitator of trainings preferable TOT certification.-Fluency in English language.
