Promotes next destination sales upon check-in. ? Promotes in-house services and facilities. (In terms of benefits not features) ? Be up to date with all F& B activities, theme evenings, entertainment and costs, opening times, and promotions for the hotel ? Promotes and arrange airport transfers ? Promotes IHG Loyalty programs (Ambassador & IHGRC memberships) ? Disburses paid outs as instructed by authorized personnel (after approval). ? Prepares and balances cash report with cash fund at end of duty and prepares list of checks received. Deposit liquid money in bank. ? Investigate any discrepancy in the housekeeping report and report it to his supervisor. ? Controls guest room moves to ensure all departments are notified using the correct forms. ? Arranges posted bills, checks and vouchers, in a systematic manner to facilitate balancing by night auditor. Counts money received to verify amounts and issues appropriate receipts. ? Makes sure all departure with account to company have supporting documents attached. ? Offer TSA F.O Upselling for our guests in order to reach our specified target by IHG. ? Maintains positive employee relations. ? Attend meeting or training sessions when requested. ? Be familiar with all room type and configuration, review house count periodically, be aware of status in order to maximize occupancy and room rate ? Keeps an accurate room status at all times (by the help & assistance of H/K). ? Carries out a weekly inventory of office supplies and prepares a requisition for approval with coordination of the FD supervisor ? Greets guests courteously and in a Friendly manner upon arrival. (Welcome to the Inter Continental) ? Checks correspondence and guest histories of all arrivals for the day ? Prints registration cards for same day reservations ? Advises all guests of their room numbers and room rates. (Silently) on welcome booklets. ? Handles guest?s needs, inquiries and requests. ? Maintains Reservations Office procedure when Reservations Office is closed. ? Remains up to date with all rates, packages and promotions being offered by the hotel. ? Assists Guests using safety deposit boxes; issue keys and attend to guests making use of boxes in polite and friendly way. ? Attends to guest queries and complaints in as far as he/she is capable, and then refer them to the Reception Manager or Duty Manager. ? Controls daily departures allowing for smooth check-out for all departures according to hotel and Intercontinental standards and procedures. ? Well maintain the life cycle of Rc?s on the desk (Bucket Check). ? Offers luggage assistance upon check-out and request guest comments, if any, about their stay. ? Assists Guest Relations staff and Duty Manager in escorts of all arrivals. ? Commits to a positive contribution in our Overall Guest experience, Loyalty Recognition and Problem Handling target set by IHG. ? Ensure to provide guests with efficient check in and out process. ? Demonstrate Awareness of OH&S policies and procedures and ensure all procedures are conducted safely and within OH&S guidelines and ensure your direct reports do the same ? Be aware of duty of care and adhere to occupational, health and safety legislation, policies and procedures ? Be familiar with property safety, first aid and fire and emergency procedures and operate equipment safely and sensibly. ? Attend the FLS training twice per year.Bachelor?s degree/ higher education qualification, Must speak fluent English and local language.Other languages preferred.
