Education: Basic - Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Commerce (Commerce), Bachelor of Business Administration (Management) Nationality: Any Nationality Industry Type: General Trading / Export / Import Other Benefits: Medical Insurance, Paid Annual Leaves, Annual Air tickets Functional Area: Finance / Treasury / Investment Operations30th March, 2021 Apply Now Role Overview: The Trade finance Analyst will be involved in all aspects of the operations for the Trade finance functions of the Company?s offices, including investment operations in relation to the Company?s funding vehicles. He/she will liaise with the Group Companies and external banks for daily operational enquiries and support, ensuring that all trade finance and investment transactions are processed in a timely manner. Areas of Responsibility: The main responsibilities will be to cover all aspects of Trade finance relating to the provision of expert guidance to the Group entities on documentation drafts, issuance, amendment, processing, calculation, negotiation of fees, reporting and reconciliation of transactions relating to: ? Import Letter of Credits ? Export Letter of Credits ? Import Documentary Collections ? Bank Guarantees PROCESSING: To process Bank Guarantees, Letters of Credit within the agreed timeline and ensure that bank charges are monitored as well as negotiated with the banks in order to reduce costs. VERIFICATION: To verify LC documents (Export) and provide support relating to documentation. REPORTING: To update all LC, Guarantees and outstanding data in the Treasury Management system and track all auto Renewal BGs - and follow up for immediate cancellation when required. TRAINING AND CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT: To keep abreast of all UCP regulations, Inco terms, etc and educate/provide training to the users/entities through workshops and in house sessions. CASH MANAGEMENT: The Trade Finance Analyst will also be involved in the provision of information to be used in the Groups cash flow forecasting, and as such, should have a firm understanding of cash management processes relating to payments, cash forecasting and risk management. ADHOC: Other Adhoc items that may from time to time become a requirement for the smooth running of the Treasury operations, such a assisting Treasury and investment projects, creation of policies and procedures and providing cover during team absences. The role will involve extensive exposure to the Groups Internal and external stakeholders, and the candidate will be required to handle the external banking and investment relationships and teams dealing with the Trade finance transactions. There will also be interaction with the Company?s capital markets units, who provide a critical interface with the Company?s investors and funders.
