A Pricing Manager with the global leader in the creation of Taste & Wellbeing and Fragrance?& Beauty, a key member of our Regional Pricing team for Taste & Wellbeing and a strong Business Partner for our continued success in Africa and the Middle East,?while being based in our Dubai office -?Your future position?Are you an experienced Procurement professional and would like to take a new turn in your career by joining the Pricing team of a global and leading organisation? Then this might be the perfect opportunity for you!Our Pricing team contributes to ensuring that Givaudan can continue to offer our niche solutions and ingredients to Customers at the appropriate value and price point to promote sustainable growth.We are currently looking to expand our small, friendly, and fabulous Regional Pricing team and hiring for a new??Pricing Manager??role to be an excellent business partner for our growing Taste & Wellbeing business across countries in Africa and the Middle East (AME) region. As a key member of our Regional Pricing team, you will implement and manage the pricing strategy for your scope region to ensure local and regional pricing consistency and profitability in line with Givaudan?s purpose and commercial objectives for the region.?You will ensure regular alignment with the business on the pricing strategy, processes, dataflow and systems design, policies, methodologies and other initiatives. You will be a member of business groups working on tender and core list proposals and actively participate in the negotiation where necessary. The role will in our regional office in Dubai, will directly manage 1 junior pricing team member, report to the Regional Pricing Head for Europe, Africa, and the Middle East, and offer excellent opportunities for both personal and professional development.?You will work for a company that touches billions of consumers more than a hundred times a day.   • You will be a strong Business Partner for the Key Account Manager?s to ensure growth, efficiency tracking, and the right prioritisation holistically.
  • You will work closely with procurement to understand threats and opportunities.?
  • Ensure proper Pricing Performance Monitoring together with Business Partners and Controlling.
Driving Strategies and continuous improvement ??
  • You will translate and drive the regional pricing strategy and projects into sub-region and country?execution.?
  • Regularly seek efficiencies inside pricing processes and transactions, and support the continued?improvement of pricing guidelines, procedures and monitoring applications.
  • Proactively improve efficiencies and profit levels through value-based pricing opportunities and your participation in driving regional business and pricing projects.
Target agreement -?
  • Define, monitor, and drive achievements for Africa and the Middle East (AME) KPI?s.
  • Align the target margin approach to regional needs considering global standards and own the price increase process inside the sales region.
  • Represent the sales region?s requirements in regional pricing projects.?
Price setting and maintenance ??
  • Manage ongoing pricing activities and compute prices, cost targets, and margins of Taste & Wellbeing solutions and ingredients.?
  • Maintain price lists and oversee the price monitoring process.
People management and development ??
  • Manage, mentor, and coach a junior Pricing team member.
  • Create an environment for high performance through sound leadership.?
  • Support the actionable pricing knowledge development of the sales team?s.
