Job Description

Our ?Professional Services? client is looking for a Senior Researcher to support the Research Hub team which is composed of industry-aligned specialists supporting the strategy consulting business in the Middle East. The candidate will be responsible for providing in-depth industry research and analysis services to project and proposal teams, primarily focusing on secondary research for the Telecoms, Media, and Technology (TMT) practice. Supporting the development of research toolkits and knowledge products for the practice. Managing key relationships with the practice leads and setting an annual research plan. You will be degree educated and be responsible for providing in-depth functional (industry) research and analysis services to client and proposal teams. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, Arabic would be an advantage.Description:

  • Autonomously support client teams on sector-specific requests for projects and proposals by leveraging internal and external subscriptions across our client?s network
  • Deliver on research service menu products, including benchmarking; company profiling; and financial analysis, industry baselining, and market trends
  • Extract and structure insights in an easy to read, presentable format, using visual aids to depict key messages
  • Coordinate and schedule request delivery and define priorities to ensure on-time and quality outputs
  • Liaise with the practice leads to plan annual research and initiatives agenda by discussing upcoming projects and marketing needs
  • Serve as an embedded team member on client engagements to support select workstreams by taking full ownership of data requirements, research, synthesis, and final deliverables
  • Innovate research services by creating digital tools to support client staff teams to work efficiently and extract relevant trends and insights
  • Integrate with local and international teams on project work (newsletters, task forces, etc.)
  • Vet and negotiate contracts with research vendors to ensure high RoI across investments, while regularly aligning to the dynamically changing priorities of the TMT practice
  • Become familiar with internal intellectual capital availability and work with topic specialists to create well-rounded research outputs
  • Train client staff to use different information sources and knowledge platforms
  • Identify and interact with external industry expert networks to derive relevant information and insights
