Job Description

Our client is a successful Digital Transformation solutions provider in the UAE. They are currently looking for a Senior Front-End Engineer to be part of their growing team. As a Senior Front-End Engineer, you will be responsible for produce scalable software solutions as part of a cross-functional team that is responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment. As a Senior Front-End Engineer, you should be comfortable around both front-end and back-end coding languages, development frameworks and third-party libraries.Responsibilities

  • Work with development teams and product managers to ideate software solutions.
  • Design client-side and server-side architecture.
  • Build the front-end of applications through appealing visual design.
  • Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications
  • Write effective APIs.
  • Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software.
  • Create security and data protection settings.
  • Build features and applications with a mobile responsive design.
  • Write technical documentation.
Functional Competencies
  • Professional software development experience in Angular and Java Spring Boot.
  • Professional experience in front-end development with experience in Angular JS, jQuery, JavaScript, TypeScript, CSS, HTML.
  • Experience working with web services generating and consuming SOAP and REST services.
  • Good Knowledge of SOA architecture and microservices architecture.
  • Working experience in architecting Java applications.
  • Experience with SQL database technologies ? Oracle Database, MySql etc.
  • Strong understanding in areas of Computer Science such as Algorithms, Data Structures, Object Oriented Design, Database Design, UML etc.
  • Experience with Git, BitBucket resource control.
  • Working knowledge of Linux Systems.
